楼上，建议先把英语水平提高到六级优秀，或者托福630分的水平。

我认为权利要求中的“the”应翻译成“该”，以与“said(所述)”区别，可理解为“那个，这个”。在指代关系明确时必须翻出，也就是说，不翻出来也不影响意思的，就可以不翻译。
“the ”在距离远的时候也可翻译成“所述”，距离近的时候翻译成“该”。比如上面正描述一个装置，下面紧接着可用“（the）该装置”。
