Google Inc. tod three lawyers in a letter that they will never use the wifi data they accidently collected from over 30 countries.

Google map service has been more and more popular and proved to be quite helpful when one is going to visit a new place or locate a building he has no idea. To date, google only mapped some of the developed countries, such as most of west European countries, USA, Australia and Japan. Nowadays, people are strongly suggested to check the detailed information on google maps before their departure. However, this fancy technology provides not only convenience but also arguments, especially after a wide circulation of several cases of privacy exposure.  The latest one is about a naked bathing girl in her apartment while google street view car passing by. Google tried to put out the fire but discussions are soaring up about its abusing technology.

In China, the chance for ordinary people to take advantage of this map service is getting smaller, if not fading away at all. China\'s State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping claims that google has to ask for permit from relevant authorities for mapping the street in order to protect public privacy, remove confidential military locations and most importantly, should reflect government policy on disputed territories. Google has relocated to Hong Kong due to stop following the requirment of self-censor by redirecting their Chinese users to it Hong Kong site, which does not need any censorship.

Google alleges that those accidently collected data are will never be used and they are safely deposited as digit data. But this explanation does not appease two lawyers. \"Google now confesses it has been collecting people\'s information for years, yet claims they still do not know exactly what they collected and who was vulnerable,\" Barton said in a statement. \"This is deeply troubling for a company that bases its business model on gathering consumer data.\"
